The Dallas CSI Foundation is offering a Traveling Fellowship of $3,000 to one deserving students from the Dallas/Fort Worth area who is studying in a design or construction science related discipline.
Criteria
A Fellowship may be awarded to a Graduate or Undergraduate student with a minimum of two years of College/University credit completed and at least one year remaining to complete their professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or Construction Science and Technology.
Student must be a graduate of a DFW Metropolitan area high school (Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall or Tarrant Counties) or achieved equivalency certification from the State of Texas as a resident of the DFW Metropolitan area of the same counties listed above.
Student must be enrolled in an accredited College/ University in the states of Texas or Oklahoma.
Student must have shown special skill and advancement in the areas of Architectural Design, Architectural Engineering or Construction Science and Technology.
While financial need is not the primary criterion, consideration will be given to applicant’s financial status.
The Student is traveling abroad in an approved school semester program for the upcoming year.
The Student is to provide a one-page essay about the upcoming trip expressing what they hope to learn or achieve on the trip abroad. After the trip, the Student will provide a follow up of what was learned, achieved, and experienced in one of the following formats. There will be an opportunity for the Student to present at a future CSI chapter meeting or event.

The Fellowship amount is $3,000. The Student will receive the first half of this amount once the application is approved and the second half of this amount after the trip and receipt of the video / PowerPoint.
